What Lipo for Grasshopper/Hornet?

Tried to fit my Yeah Racing Lipo into my Grasshopper last night, to find it doesn't fit. It is a round edged hardcase with the leads coming out the end. What hardcse lipo's are you huys using in your GH/Hornet?

I have the IP4000 round edge Li-Po pack in my Grasshopper chassis (same dimensions as the Yeah Racing pack).

What I did to fit it was cut a slot in the rear of the chassis for the wires to exit from and mount the battery in backwards and put the battery plug above the gearbox. Also makes it easier to unplug without removing the body. It's still a firm fit length ways with the Li-Po being 3mm longer than a Ni-MH stick pack.

i have a venom 4800mah round edge hard case that i can fit in my super g. its a tight fit, but it does fit...just.

Hi im running a turnigy zippy lipo hardcase in mine, its a tight fit but goes with a bit of force.

I have 2, 3 cell packs in my Mad Bull. total capacity is 2600 Mah. They are wired in parallel. Fitted snugly in the standard bay.

I have a 4000 Mah in mine.  What  I will say I changed my servo to a low profile one as a standard height one made fitting the battery awkward and pinched the wires badly

With normal servo

With low profile one.

 

I don't now how well it goes as it's a new build and I am currently in the waiting for paint to dry stage lol

It's 4000mah, but it's an older model and a lower C rating than the CR293.  The dimensions are the same though.

You mean the CR239 I linked not CR293?

Judt checking, this means 

• 23.3 x 46 x 133.7mm

Yeah the servo does limit the entry angle a bit, is your 4000mah the Core one I linked above?
