Percymon 2184 Posted June 3, 2011 Doesn't look too far away from one of the Fakolor paints from recollection
EddScott 134 Posted June 3, 2011 It's not too far away from Subaru Sonic Blue. Don't know what the name would be in a tamiya rattle can.
OCD 514 Posted June 3, 2011 I've done this color before; Pactra 'Candy Blue' backed with silver will look pretty dang close. If you can't find the Pactra stuff, Tamiya's PS-38 might be the next best candidate. hth
Corpse Thrower 16 Posted June 4, 2011 I am building an R34 GT-R and was wondering how to get this color: Looks like the colour I painted my Scania. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/getuserimage.asp...007140501_1.jpg Sorry, can't make the showroom photo show up. Stupid forum.
Wez-li 1790 Posted June 4, 2011 If it helps the colour is Bayside Blue, paintcode TV2, it's nissan specific. That Scania looks very close from the pic, although the actual Bayside Blue R34 in real life is a really unique colour blue
Spetz83 0 Posted June 5, 2011 Corpse Thrower, what color is your Scania? And, how would it be different considering you have white body Vs my clear body? The color doesn't need to be exact, but at least indistinguishable from memory (ie, don't want to look at it thinking "that's obviously the wrong color") How about this color, it must be a Tamiya color, and it looks pretty close to what I want:
VinceVegaUK 0 Posted June 9, 2011 you mean like this? Tamiya PS16 backed with silver i think it was PS12 or 41 Later VV
Wandy 1526 Posted June 9, 2011 you mean like this? Tamiya PS16 backed with silver i think it was PS12 or 41 Later VV Good shout. I'd say that was near identical to the colour of the OP's 1:1 photo.
Spetz83 0 Posted June 10, 2011 It is a bit too dark I think, and a bit too vibrant. Does anyone know the color of the RX7 I posted? And, the color that Scania truck was in?
