There is some stuff on Carson Modelsport (www.carson-modelsport.com) that I want to buy but I can't for the life of me work out how you go about doing it. :P

Am I missing something here? Has anyone bought from there before, importing to the UK?

Hmm,does seem a bit confusing.you can go into their e store, but the only thing on offer are cups, catalogues, stickers and the like.

It seems that they do not deal with international customers? B)

No, they do not sell RC parts over the internet to anyone, only via retailers. For 'quality' reasons...

Your best bet is epay.

If you're having troubles finding your most wanted parts, maybe I can help. (I'm in Germany)

Thanks Dante, it's these wheels & tyres that I want... http://www.carson-modelsport.com/en/produc...ArtNr=500900027 ..and I'd gladly send you the funds if you could source them.

So does that mean that even if I was in Germany I could not buy them from the website?

Wandy,

Go on to Ebay.co.uk then search under "Carson 500900027", select "Worldwide" and you'll have a nice surprise!!!

Mate, your a star. Thanks for the heads-up.

I looked on ebay the other day and saw nothing. I can now get my Holiday Buggy looking like this beauty

watching this brilliant vid made me realise just how sweet the HB10 really is with just the smallest amount of tinkering.

Out of interest, did you bother to check they had stock before ordering?

Most items on their site say "Usually Ships in 1 to 2 Days " which, if I wanted something quick, would prompt me to give 'em a ring and ask, whether I wanted it in two days or seven

Also wonder if you called them before posting in their forum, or if you just got a bit of an axe to grind? B)

Cheers for that, however I have already had an email from the seller saying they are in the post so hopefully all should be ok. B)

also had the same issues before with ms showing stock & not having any, i had a good talk about this before with a well known person you deal with from a mag & its just what happens with online shops.

I don't know noboby

MS is one store I never bother ringing prior to ordering as they've got some kind of stock indicator, although I got had by MiM before now

Was just curious of the way buying online goes in general - some stores seem to have very accurate stock indicators, others have none at all, but a lot of people (meself included) assume the 'buy' button means the stock's there

lol not seen him for few mths , yes same here usally does say out of stock & expected back instock date. i only payed cause instock just guess was not my lucky day. i see there site says away till july but date wrong when they went lol guess typo error. also brought two body sets years ago from another well know shop cost me over £80 & waited mths for them ended with a refund, why they do it i just guess its get the funds & bulk buy to get better discounts or cheaper shipping, i guess its gonna be back to buying from hk even if costs more atleast you get items in 3/4 days well was last time i brought from hk

PLEASE ALL YOU ONLINE HOBBY SHOPS HAVE A STOCK INDICATOR OR ATLEAST IF YOU HAVE ONE GET SOMEONE TO CHECK IT DAILY & UPDATE IT LOL
