Backlash 481 Posted June 8, 2011 If you really want to use RPM ballends on your Avante, but find that they wont fit the Tamiya balls, then change the balls over as well.. The balls from the Associated TC5 fit the RPM ball ends, and have a 3mm thread.. The other option is to try the ballends from the TRF 415 etc.. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
digitrc 0 Posted June 8, 2011 Tamiya do ball cups with closed ends for the more recent racing cars, they fit the same ballstuds. Some of the other Japanese manufacturers use the same size ball, the balls are actually 4.8mm diameter not the 5mm that Tamiya state. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
