I have a Suzuki Swift M03M with a 17T motor. Can someone please recommend tires? I just race it in parking lots and I currently have the stock tires on but it spins out a lot. Are there better tires? or should i just get a slower motor?

Thanks very much

If the car is spinning (e.g.oversteer), then there's several things you can do.

stiffen up the front damper and soften up the rear damper for better weight transfer to the rear while accelerating

add more camber to the rear

widen the rear track

for a front wheel drive car, you want to have a bit of more grip at the rear than the front.

I used to use SuperGrip in the front and Type A in the rear. I usually have blue spring in the front and red/yellow spring in the rear.

Thanks for the replys.

I looked at the hpi x pattern tires and i think i'll give them a try.

the shocks are stock so i'm going to also try adding in spacers to tighten up the front and will check on some new springs after i see how that works out.

the stock tires are the 60D radials. they were good with the silver can, but with the lower turn motor, they're not so good

Unless you plan on running TCS

Too true.

I wish there were a TCS series within easy driving distance of where I live - I would be over the moon, but ... I'd settle for an R/C club doing TT-01 or M chassis racing at the local community center. Nobody around here shows the slightest interest. :)
