New foam tyres for Tamtech?

At the Kawada proshop in Singapore, came across some foam tyres for Kawada's Tripmate 1/24 car. Two narrow and two wide in a pack, they look like they could fit on a Tamtech's wheels.

Anyone tried yet?

Hi.

I haven t try to fit those tires on tamiya rims because the tires are factory glued, but you can see in this picture the diference beetween tripmate foam tires and tamiya ones.

You can also use foam tires made for Plafit slotcars (1/24 with modelkits bodies). Normally they must be trued.

Personally i use tamiya tamtech front tires and wheels because they are harder and wider, and rear kawada foam tires and rims.

The Kawada tyres I found were unglued, pricetag JPY400.
