Thank you SO much for creating this thread! Great pictures too!

I'm anxious for someone with experience with the original release FAV to look at your gearbox pictures and let us know if improvements were made.

In your haste you put the front wheel on back to front haha but a great build and great pictures nonetheless and very informative :)

So in essence, this is a basic kit for a beginner. Seems to be very simple and i guess the price reflects this........makes the prices of the original kits seem even more ludicrous!

This looks good just in plain Brown/Green/Yellow plastic (omit as necessary depending on your eyes and the colour settings of your computer screen!). I reckon this could be built, painted (marginal detailing) and ran within half a day. Superb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh yes.... The front left wheel.... Thanks for pointing that out..... Will go correct it later.....

Ya... If u exclude painting the driver... Put on e camo decal tamiya provided... It can be up n running within the day.... But i am still thinking about which camo pattern to paint thus this FAV will remain this way till i can decide on the pattern...

Sooo looking forward to this one. Thanks for sharing.

One question, since you didn't show a photo - rear axles are dogbone-style like re-re Frog, correct?

When looking at the pics, i am pretty sure i can see slots in both diff outdrives and the rear axles in the manual laying on the table. B)

Otherwise, a great thread, and very nice photos too. :)

However, i don´t quite get the idea about the black rollcage bits compared to the body-coloured bits of the original?

Anyway, it´s still a nice piece of machinery, and they provide great fun when running them... Hard.. ;)

Cheers, and have fun with it.. :D

I can't believe the 'Bonus Pack' of bearings doesn't include a couple for the gearbox too, unless I have missed them in the pics.

Hmm, do I get one of these for chrimbo or go for a Honcho or a Wraith?

Nope.... U din missed anything.... There's only 8pcs of bearings. Enough for the wheels but not for the 2 in the gearbox.

Paid for mine today as they have just come into stock at RC Champ. Hopefully it'll be here by the end of the week.

Not going for the military look. Civilian look in my usual colours with mods planned (can I leave anything standard?).
