FUTABA TRANSMITTER AND RECEIVER CONTROLS?

Fairly new to this so please go easy on me

I have now finally built my Tamiya Dark Impact and am now sorting out the controls.

I have just managed to win the following items on ebay at a very good price.

FUTABA 6EX 2.4GHZ SS TRANSMITTER

FUTABA R606FS RECEIVER

Been told that these are mainly for Planes and Helicopters but that I can still use them.

What I need to know is what servo and speed controller should i use as (can i use acoms with the futaba range)

Oh and also looking for a speed controller for the car??

Any help will be much appreciated
