Axial Wraith - Blown Tranny Blues

Got me an Axial Wraith.

Swapped the electronics for a Spectrum Radio / Receiver and Traxxas Velineon ESC/Motor with Maxamps 2s lipo.

Second run stripped out the second gear in the tranny (Part #ax80010).

I'll assume I had the slipper too tight ??

Aside from that it seems to be a wonderful ride. A bit bouncy stock but I'll work on that. Well built, though some of the hex heads were a mix of SAE & metric .

The LED's are bright and the design seems pretty sweet.

Definitely a must have but I know the die hards will wait for the KIT to come out - I needed a runner for the beach though . Of course now I'm still out of luck, back to my Clod runner.

Ordered a full metal gear replacement from Ebay today.
