Tamiya Tires 53093

I am trying to find anyone with stock of Tamiya 53093 anyone know anywhere?

I have been told 9805537 is the replacement which I think are DT02 rear tires. Does anyone know if 9805537 fit 53086 wheels?

53093 tires are discontinued at TamiyaUSA.

9805537 are replacements for the DT-02 series and will fit on Star Dish wheels.

OK no worries I have ordered a set of them.... do they vary much form the discontinued ones?

the spikes are different, but the tires should fit the rims.

The 53086 Rear Star Dish Wheels are only a small amount smaller than a standard 2.2 inch wheel and 2.2 inch buggy rear tires can fit well.

I am using 2.2 inch Proline tires (Calibers and Hole Shots) on the wheels on both my Super Astute and Dyna Storm. They do need to be glued well though.

I also am running Losi 2.0 inch step pins on a pair of rear Star Dish rims that I put on the rear of my Frog or Hornet for running. They stretch over very well.

9805537 is the same as 53084 Square Spike Rear Tire - which have been listed as discontinued at Tamiya USA as well. These tires definitely fit the wheels as this is the combination that came in the Super Astute kit.

The re-release Holiday Buggy has 53059 Wide Stud Spike Tires included on its yellow Star Dish Wheels. These are a 2.0 inch tire and have been stretched over the wheel.

Oh ok thanks for that.... well I ordered some of 9805537 then after that came accross a set of 53093 in Australia so a quick call to check the stock and they are now coming my way too.

Just ordered 2 sets of 53084 from Japan, really hope these will fit my star dish wheels

I have really struggled to find good tires for my star dish, tried to find som rally-ish tires, but ended up with the spiked ones..

Should have been a system for RC tires, different codes for different sizes, easy to search online..
