I haven't been on here for a while but found myself slowly looking at TC a little bit more every day... This happens probably once a year... haven't touched any of my cars for about 3 months... got the bug again now!

I thought I'd take the chance to acknowledge Tamiya USA for their great customer service.

I've always fancied a TRF801x ( I don't have any nitro stuff... but read the reviews and you'll want one too!) and noticed them for sale on Tamiya USA Scratch and Dent for $249 free shipping. Pics showed a dented box but no damage inside.

I had a few questions for Tamiya USA support team after ordering, they really helped me out. The item arrived in what I would call 'perfect straight from the factory condition'. I have been more than happy with the entire experience.

I thought I'd share this as a breath of fresh air. I've been catching up on some threads here and Tamiya has come in for a lot of stick. In my book, you can't beat great customer service and they excelled in my opinion.

Cheers,

Paul

I'm happy at least the USA distributor offers good customer service! The last distributor from the Netherlands was &*%!, and eventually went bankrupt. Business has been taken over by the German distributor, but the organisation of their Dutch department is still worse off than say having a 3-year old in charge of security of the Pentagon :)

Great buy for an awesome price! I'm too starting to race the 801x in my country (Italy) even if all the spares has to be bought from US or some "oriental" sellers....

Would be nice to be able to buy from Tamiya USA even form outside US.... :)

What I like about Tamiya USA? I've had orders literally arrive the next day. Didn't pay for overnight shipping either. Of course it helps to live in So Cal. :)
