Novak BECs - wos reckon?

I am looking into upgrading my Blitzer and Lunchbox to 2.4ghz Spektrum set up. Of course, no BEC in Tamiya 104 ESC, and no BEC in Sprektrum receivers! Rather than change the ESC (which I am happy with), what does anyone reckon to installing one of these little chaps??

I've never run a Spektrum receiver since I don't one but with my Tamiya TEU-101BK ESCs, which do not have a BEC circuit, I've never had a problem running the things with Futaba, Traxxas, Associated, and FlySky receivers and servos with a 2S LiPo.

I wouldn't bother with the Novak setup, but, if you follow my advice and the thing cooks itself I'm not taking any responsibility for the failure

spektrum RX has no problems with the voltage, its more what you're running off it... some servos might not like above 6.0V, some newer servos now tolerate "high voltage"

when i say "spektrum" i mean Spektrum <-- the brandname

doesn't include all non-Spektrum flavours of 2.4GHz
