Stadium Blitzer/Beetle Pinion Replacement

Folks,

What pitch is the pinion gear on the Stadium Blitzer / Blitzer Beetle re-re ? How many teeth ?

I'm waiting for the beetle re-re in October but want to order a steel replacement ahead of time for my beach runner build .

Thanks, I'll add a few teeth to that as i'm dropping in the traxxas velineon brushless set .

15Tooth is the only other option catered for as the motor mounts directly to the gearbox - you'll have to dremel the gearbox mouting holes into an exteneded channel to cater for anything else.

Standard silvercan you'd use the 15 tooth.

Hot brushed or brushless you'd use the 13 tooth. (Smaller pinion with hot motors with higher rpm).

4500Kv-5000Kv works great with the 13 tooth pinion. I have 4600Kv Mamba in use with the 13 tooth pinion and 2.2 wheels. Motor and ESC temps are cool to warm, battery stays cool. Power is barely controllable at full throttle.

You can get this model to use 17 tooth and 19 tooth pinions by using the Bear Hawk gear casing and gearset, but this shifts the gear ratio the wrong way for hot motors or big wheels.
