Stadium Blitzer - Pro-lines on!

Recommended Posts

Following some research, decided to stick on a set of Pro-Lines to improve tarmac driving - Dirt Hawgs on front, Dirt Works on back. Even though now have different dia tyres front and rear I think it looks sweet and first test run was good......

Just got to sort out steel pinion now before MORE POWER!

Ha, awesome! Exact same setup I have on mine :)

These PL tires are soooooo soft compared to stock. Should be able to get slightly better speeds too, considering the extra diameter offered by the rears.

Guys

Both your cars look sweet! B)

Wouldn't mind these tyres on my Brushless Blitzer Beetle, where did you get them from? ;)

Cheers,

Paul.

Hi there. I have just purchased some tyres for my SB before coming across this forum unfortunately. The front are the proline dirt hawg 1 and the rear dirt hawg 11, but the rears are so much larger they seem disproportionate 90mm front and 108 rear. I note your mention of your setup being different dia front and rear, but they look great, my set up looks like a funny car.

Can you tell me the dia of the dirt works rears?

Proline's website states they are 4.20 inches or 107mm tall. I have them on both the front and back of my Blitzer Beetle and they work well.

And many months down the line a few less visual mods:

Modelsport RV12 Sniper ESC

HPI 15T motor

Bump Steer mod in place

Further preload spacers on fron suspension

Result - nicely quick, steers well, minimal cost! Happy Days
