Yes get another WW2 and a Wild Wendy to drive it :)

tips

- a steel 18T pinion rrp (or perhaps also the 20T is little faster but less wheelie)

- also nice hopup is oil dampers and put some lights in (i got the 3racing kit)

have fun (needless to say, all Willy owners do  )

I think the WW is a must in any Tamiya nuts collection for no other reason than the wealth of fun you can have with telling people about it...

"I spent all weekend repairing my Willy"

"I've got some paint and going to recolour my Willy"

"It's been raining today, but I don't care. I like getting my Willy wet"

Yes it's juvenile.. but it's fun!

 Thanks guy's.

So the 48P robinson racing pinions fit?

Man i got the tamiya bug bad now!!

I recently got a hornet kit now ihave:

2 hornets

midnight pumpkin

lunch box

sand scorcher

fast attack

Holiday buggy

sand rover

and now a Wild willy!!

All Re releases.

I forgot how much fun these tamiyas where!

I hate it!

Independent rear suspention makes it wobbling!

I wish I bougt the VLB of pumpkin... Or now Montero!

Solid rear axel!!!

Weird, I thought the independant suspension lets it handle the bumps better that the VLB or Pumpkin. It turns a lot quick than those thanks to the shorter wheelbase and it doesnt have their shonky unsymetrical steering either. Clearly I'm too late to influence you but yes, if you're thinking about a WW2 then you already want it, so get one. Besides you already have the other "Original Big Tyres" so you need to complete the set . Loads of fun and they survive a lot of abuse. I repainted mine this year as a present to him the cheeky little fella. Now I like him so much he's my avatar

Just needs bearings and oil dampers.

I loved my first Midnight Pumpkin. 10 years passed and I got a WW2 and I declared that if my house was on fire that would be the RC that I grabbed on my way out the door. Years later I got a rere Pumpkin and I hate driving it. The WW2 spoiled me.

Do it!

Heres both of my Wild Willy 2's

I Think there a great laugh... .. one for me .. one for me Gf with a jeep body on, i put oil filled shocks on one and it even more fun and both have sports tuned 540 in and fully ball raced.

Think i need raid the local BMX track again .. and show them a flying Willy

Thanks Guy's looks like wild willy will be a BLAST!!

Now i am wondering what color to paint him...... Maybe just leave this one green like on the box??... does the body get scraped up much on the jeep or does the roll bar and front and rear parts on the body stop it from getting scrapped up to much?

Thanks

Looks great!!

Did you paint it or just put the decals on and dull clear coat it?

Thanks

The roll bar takes the brunt of it but i only run mine on grass.

Mine is fully ballraced with Ansmann dampers (rides the bumps alot better now)

O i did not know the wild willy still used 32P.

Thanks

no no, not the 32p, allmost all tamiya models have Metric .6 Module Pinions (thats the list way down on my link)

I use them on several cars willy, cr01, ta02, df01, cc01, srb

have a look here explains it pretty well.

I just got a wild willy 2 last week , my first Tamiya. After a few runs I went and added a traxxas velineon system and a lipo battery. You will really like the willy. Just wish someone else was near me so we could run together.
