Need members around the south yorkshire area

Im from rotherham, near sheffield and woundered how many peeps are in the similar area, sheffield, doncaster etc that regularly run off-road buggies and such, and where they do it.

theres two or three of us and was looking for somewhere new to run, so if your local and have somewhere to meet up, let us know.

I'm not far, but nowhere to run other than back garden, cul de sac and local park.

Hiya matey, not sure, we used to meet up at clumber park every two weeks, but bored of that. was hoping someone had somewhere good to run.

Would be nice to get out and about with the cars after xmas, i fancy getting something muddy and wet.

Though finding somewhere with shelter from the wind etc is a problem.

Hi volksrod68, we are looking at some land after christmas, so will keep this topic updated, although looking at clubs in the south yorkshire area like robinhood raceway at blyth.

Looks a decent track, reminds me of the track down at Kidderminster.

Have you looked into the track at Wombwell? It's in with a go-kart track too so ideal if anyone has an FG they want to thrash round in a decent space.

We visit wombwell once a month to watch a friend that races 1/5th touring cars, great track but not really open any other time, it would be great if it was for bashing sessions.

Would be great to organise a weekend-long session in a quarry, maybe spend saturday making a scale course with various obstacles and mud pits etc, and return sunday to test our skills. Was it you who mentioned aaaages ago you had a mate whi owned a quarry or something near Thorpe Hesley?
