minijosh 0 Posted October 31, 2011 What do you need? We got plenty out here in the West. I'm sure I can ship stuff to you cheaper than you can buy.
ideal2k 3 Posted October 31, 2011 What you need to do is to come to Norway, where we are massive VW addicts. I submit my evidence: People's #1: The greed DoKa pickup is mine, 72 model. It currently looks like this, undergoing a bit of rust repairs: http://www.vwnorge.no/index.php/topic,1858...395777.html#new People's #2: '65 Karmann Ghia, red, is mine. People's #3: Green beetle, '67 model By the time I'm done, they'll all sport great big massive donkey motors in the rear. 2.9 for the DoKa, 2332 for the Ghia, 1914cc for the beetle. All in progress as we speak The 1914 was done this fall, but we drove like 4 minutes and it seized, too many shims on the crankshaft. 2332 is basicly just assembly, casing done, everything ready. Then the 2.9 is not ready at all, have the core type 4 motor ready and crank but no work done. Then there's a 091 transmission with an LSD going in the DoKa, make sure to handle all that hp
wolfdogstinkus 1876 Posted October 31, 2011 Lots of Norwegians make their way over to the U.K for Bug Jam every year so they must be massive VW addicts That is an impressive collection of cars you have ideal2K, I used to drive a 72bug but recently sold it , had it for 6years and it never let me down. Beetleman, so is there not a big following where you are? you are not far from where it all began.

What I meant is I'll be visiting Berlin soon and want to know where I can go to buy stuff for my beetles. Localy we have a small beetle club. About 15-20 cars show up weekly. That's it. Parts are extremely difficult to obtain. Thanks guys for the posts. Beautiful pictures ideal2k. cheers
