Bar finding a local engineering shop to make one for me , are there any other SRB alloy chassis plates besides the Radshape and Junfac items ?

Looks like rad22rad items are long gone to collectors and if one did come up for sale would be way out of my budget !

Before anyone suggests i make one that is a no no - i spend too much time in the RC shed as it is according to the other half !

I think those are the only ones available for now that i have seen. Both are pretty good. I will make some sometime soon. Nothing fancy though.. ;)

Anything wrong with getting a Radshape or Junfac one? I think the Radshape ones are good. I've used one on my Buggy Champ and, unless you ram a fairly solid object at full speed, it is pretty tough for a runner. They're fairly cheap too. There are some chassis' made by boxartparts (cresswell319 on eBay) that look ok too. If they're as good as the other SRB related parts he's made then they're probably a good alternative to the Radshape or Junfac chassis'.

Andy (twinset) used to make them - straight and butterfly types , I have one of the butterflys

Pargu2000 is still making aluminium chassis that are the same shape as the original FRP ones in the kit.

The Junfac ones are to the same specs as the ones that Twinset had made as they are using his drawings.

Nothing wrong with Junfac/Twinet or the Radshape ones, except i saw the ones Rad22rad used to make !

The pargu one doesn't appeal - too narrow as i'm not going to be using a radio box.

I have a cresswell rear cage already - not that impressed to be honest as its been 'painted' over to make it look uniform in colour and doesn't look all that realistic as true exposed alloy would (maybe i'm just too fussy!)
