I wanted a way to turn the lights on and off without having to take the body off. I don't have a channel dedicated to controlling lights on/off.

So I arranged this little switch. It's a wire that connects to the TLU-01 on/off switch. It exits the body right next to the "Stuff box", and made a nice hook for some rope I was looking to hang.

Pull the rope hook out, and light are off. Push the rope hook in, and lights are ON! Cool.

Mate that is just Awesome.... Love the tow ball and number plate light.....Plus Cole

Now I am really going to have to step up to the plate with my FJ40

You have inspired me to try and take my building of cars to a level I have never tried before.

Happy to be an inspiration! You know though... This is my first EVER scale truck. I have built models for years, and many RC's, but NEVER a scale truck.

Trust me, I'm inspiring myself, just messing around, messing up, and my mind keeps thinking of new stuff to build... You will too. Can't wait to see your truck. Please make a build thread!

And now I proclaim myself "Done". Just need to get some daytime action photos. Hope they turn out.

Here's good night from the final day of the CC01 build!

Cheers,

Skottoman

I was already ordering a TA02T F-150 so why not add it to my order and i really love my CC01 so it was an easy decision .Have you gotten a Junfac 4link yet? Really worthwhile.

I am looking forward to building my CC01. I also got my JunFac 4 Link for it today.

Still deciding on the weathered look or shiny and new look

I haven't gotten the link kit yet, as It's been fine for trailing and basic climbing. I may do so in the future.

Oh, and since it appears you're in Santa Cruz like me, you'd be interested to know that "Grassy Mountain" is really the giant hillside lot next to the Scotts Valley Hilton, off Hwy 17. Haha...
