This weekend i'm hoping to get back to the Falcon rebuild , especially as today some new CRP adjustable coilovers arrived :)

So what weight oil works front and back - i have a selection of oils from 25wt, through 35, 40, 45, 50, 55, 65 to 85 !

I'm leaning towards 25/35 currently but wary of how fragile the Falcon is proven experiences are most welcome.

It will be run occasionally but it won't be doing any big air, in fact i'll try not to give it any air at all for fear of it all crumbling to pieces.

Use the shock pistons with the 4 giant holes in the rear - everything else is too much damping. For the front, I use 2-holers. Both with Losi 30wt silicone oil and Green Slime on the O-rings to keep them from sticking. Feels about right.

And a little daylight under the tires from time to time is fine. Just don't do anything YouTube-worthy, and it should hold up well.

Thanks for the suggestions - will go with that, i'm sure i'll have enough spare piston plates to go with that set-up.

It won't get run much, it'll be one of the few cars i have with nil/barely nil scratches underneath !!
