BiggusDitchus 38 Posted November 15, 2011 Just thought I would make a quick post to say Goodbye Dez, Dez was until recently the editor of RRCi (Radio Race Car international) and got involved in crawling and supported the crawler nationals from the start. Probably not a widely known gent but I got to know him and must say its a sad loss to RC, he honestly was an all round good guy and was passionate about RC . netsmithUK 488 Posted November 15, 2011 That is very sad news indeed. I only met him a couple of times but he was a nice bloke. The main thing I remember about him though is, he once told me that if you cut him in half it would say "Tamiya" through the middle, like a stick of rock,as that was always his favourite. kevinthegerbil 1 Posted November 15, 2011 I first met Dez at the Ardent 24hr Race this year where he was racing in an rival team to me. He was always laughing and joking and was a pleasure being round him. Truly a dedicated RC'er if I ever knew one! My thoughts go to his Family and Friends.
