I can see why this took you 5 years to complete. The detailing on it is fantastic. You can be rightly proud of that.

What's the next project ?? :)

Very nice, a late Panther G with the first design mantlet (which they used towards the end of the war) and standard exhaust. Nice work as I know what you went through on the build because I am finishing up mine (late production Panther G) going on 3 years.

Thanks for sharing! I see I need to get back on mine. :)

4,5 years are showing it is getting all rusty. :)

Nice...

Now that's pretty impressive that is, awesome level of detail, something that I am not surprised has taken years to acomplish.

Great job on the tank commander! It really tops off an already good looking tank.

I have the Verlinden figures for my Panther ... hope they turn out half as well as yours did!

That is an absolute beauty!

I have been working on my King Tiger for about 3 years now so only 2 more to go!

Fantastic work, really well executed.

This is truly incredible work. Wow, if I ever start doing tanks, this is a very high bar to shoot for!

Very professional skills! Amazing...

Amazing! It's all the little details that get me! Rust build up on the exhausts, grit in the paint, authentic wooden parts, the weathering... :P

Hello everyone!

Excellent job on that Panther, specially on the paint details:wub:! Geez, wish i have that talent-_-.

Anyway, I see that you did install that "sheet" sticker on the lower front hull (to cover those two holes on that section). Did you stick that sheet sticker directly to the metal surface or painted surface? If you did stick it on the painted surface, does it still holding good:huh:?

Its on page 8 of the manual. Tamiya 56022 Manual.

I'm not sure if the manual wants me to file the lower front hull (which was already primed & painted) or just stick the sheet sticker onto the painted surface and then prime & paint that sheet:unsure:?

I gotta say, the Tamiya M26 Pershing that I built 2 years ago came with a very detailed instructions manual. This Panther however is <_<.

Modelers please let me know how would you guys do this:(?

-Steve

That sticker sheet for the lower hull is rubbish - make one from plasticard and glue to the hull and paint over when finished.

Thank you, Ad Lav.

Your response made me think of those weld bonding compound:P. Instead of filing, priming, and painting that whole section again... Ill just fill it up with epoxy and seal it permanently:D.
