Chris 30 0 Posted November 18, 2011 Hi everyone, When building a gear diff for the ta03r is it better to use anti-wear grease or can the diff be filled with diff oil? If the diff can be filled with oil, what weight oil should be used? Thanks for any advise.
WillyChang 1814 Posted November 18, 2011 its got no seals or gaskets, diff can't (not designed to) be filled with oil can fill it with AW or thick axle grease, doesn't really make a whole huge difference anyway swap to a TA03 balldiff if you want some adjustability

TA-Mark 195 Posted November 19, 2011 swap to a TA03 balldiff if you want some adjustability TA03 ball diffs are the non adjustable type. The screw MUST be done up tight or the diff falls apart during operation. They can be shimmed to make them tighter.
WillyChang 1814 Posted November 19, 2011 ^^ ya the # of wavy springs is how u adjust it... not by loosening the main screw
