WANTED: DF-01 Standard Spur Gear

Hi guys, stripped the spur gear this morning. Cant seem to find any standard ones on feebay (but I'm not sure how many teeth a stocky has). Seems to be the only part in the Blazing Star manual without a P/N as well...

Do not replace the DF01 spur gear with a standard one. Instead, change all the gears to the TA02 plastic gear set. They last 10 times longer. The spur gear in this set is 74 tooth. Part number #50529

Do not ever use the Tamiya aluminium AV 0.6 module pinions. Toss these in the bin! Instead, use steel 0.6 module pinions. These can be obtained from Robinson Racing in the US or RW Racing in the UK. I recommend a 19 tooth pinion for the DF01 (Blazing Star - buggy or truck size wheels). The kit pinion was 21 tooth and too big (wrong gear ratio) and better suited to the TA01/TA02/DF01 models with rally car sized wheels. Part numbers are: Robinson Racing RRP1119, or RW Racing ARW0600-19.

Search eBay for the part numbers.

Avoid aluminium gears at all costs! Plastic gearbox gears and steel pinions is the only way to have the gearboxes last.
