Hey guys, I've searched on the web but there doesn't seem to much info about troubleshooting the MFC-01 Unit. I got a half built Tamiya MAN truck and I proceeded to finish up the build and added the MFC unit. I have a few issues now that I am completely puzzled by. This is my first RC build so I'm a dummy..haha. If anyone could help I would be greatly appreciative because I don't know where else to ask.

I am using a Futaba Attack 4WD 4 channel remote. Model# 4VWD-AM

Issues:

1. When push the left stick forward, the truck moves backward so I switched the Servo Reverser switch and now it goes forward when i push forward on the stick. The problem now is that the MFC still thinks that I am going in reverse so it makes the back up sound (beeeep beeeep beeep) when it is going forward. How the heck do I fix this?

2. The MFC lights turn on when i press the buttons on the actually MFC unit but I cannot turn the lights on with the remote. I looked through Tamiya's site and watched the MFC video. I had followed all the instructions and set the manual trim settings but it still does not activate the lights. Right now, i get sounds only but no lights (unless i turn them on manually on the actual unit)

Please help a newbie out! I will be forever grateful!

Set the servo reverser swith back to N and try swapping the motor wires over

The trims on the remote have to be central as possible, the MFU can be quite stubborn and if one trim is out, it can throw the functions out of the window. I discovered this on my MFU, but with a bit of tweeking you will get it sorted. Make sure the switch on the truck is in the right position(theres 3), A useful tip is to pull it all out and restart and re read the instructions, also, be careful with the plugs for the lights as they can be rather fragile.

Carlito, thanks for the help. Everything works now except one thing. When i first tried out all the multi-functions out, the blinkers made the sound and blinked when i turned to the left and right but now my turn signals work and but no blinker sound. Any ideas on this?

If its just no sound for indicators then Im presuming more adjustment may be required, try to reset the MFU to the controller again, but im not too sure.
