Mr.Orange 0 Posted December 15, 2011 Hello, I just wonder if any one here has got this car yet? I want one, and need to know if you can mount LED:s in it. On one home page I read in the text that you could put in LED:s in it. And separate LED inserts was available. So if some one here knows the number on that LED insert as well as the wheels on it. I would be glad. I havenĀ“t found a manual for 58505 to download any where. And one more thing is there a part number for a complete pair of TRF touring shocks? Or is the ones on it good enough. WillyChang 1814 Posted December 15, 2011 currently best value & easiest available TRF touring shock pack is #42102, gives you the hard black coating & gold flourine shafts in the box only hopups left are low friction V-parts, blue TRF o-rings & alloy bottom cups bit early for manual to start appearing, high chance it might not... probably get a generic TT01E book and a flyer for the bodyshell
calicool 27 Posted December 15, 2011 This is a link to the Scirocco Body set but no mention of light buckets included if tamiya does offer light buckets for this they would come with the body set.As to the wheels these appear to be the wheels included wheels Good Luck
Mr.Orange 0 Posted December 15, 2011 Thanks for the help. The following I have found regarding TT-01E. It feels like there might be a small chance that you can mount LED:s in it. LED components are not included. (Available separately)
WillyChang 1814 Posted December 15, 2011 hope so! after all it did run a 24-hr race but the pics & video look a bit stickery though & its not mentioned in the specs... Specs and Features 1/10 scale R/C assembly kit. VW Scirocco body is realistically reproduced with polycarbonate material. Sticker and masking sticker sheets included. Separately-molded side mirrors and rear wing parts included. <<<---- usually about here The front-motor FWD FF-03 chassis features Inboard Front Suspension, ball differential, and CVA oil dampers. Independent double wishbone suspension Medium-narrow 10-spoke Gun Metal wheels (offset 0) are included. have feeling few of the "FF03" intended bodysets have come with lightbuckets, bit like the M03/5 FWD shells too does the CR-Z? the Type R might
Mr.Orange 0 Posted December 15, 2011 It looks like a standard text on every TT01E. In the video for RC JAS Motorsport Honda Civic - FF03, it says 30 seconds in. JAS Honda Civic on Youtube I hope that someone that has this car see this thread. Then we might have some answers on what it says in the manual and parts listing.
