Sometimes this message: "This member only accepts comments from subscribers" appears next to someones uploaded pics..

But WHY does it appear when I AM a full subscriber, and HAS been for several years???.. ;)

Is it the user, who has to "activate" something or what´s it all about??

If you are logged in and still cannot leave a comment then the person who owns the showroom entry has the wrong options ticked in their user setup. By default, only members can leave comments in showrooms. Adjust the settings (tick/untick the boxes) and it prevents all viewers from leaving comments. There's nothing you can do about it. The person who owns the showroom needs to adjust their settings.

In the "edit your details", "allow showroom comments" must be ticked, and the "allow only subscribers to make comments" must be left unticked (this setting is now defunct after a change to comment policy a few years ago).

Why would you have it set up like that , as it's a club ?. O well up to them .

If you've left it on the default settings it all works as it should. Maybe something for Chris to edit and remove the unused setting when he has some time.

You could always send the comment to the member via PM, and also make him/her aware that you have sent the comment this way as their user settings wont allow you to send it as a normal model comment..

Maybe they have changed something in their profile without realizing it..

Then again, maybe they have changed the settings because they got tired of the repeated requests from non-subscribers and non-members (from China) wanting to buy every model they post..

There is no setting that will allow non-members to comment on showroom entries. There hasn't been for some time, as I pointed out in my above posts. It was changed for this very reason.
