It's likely to be the oldest Hot Shot you have too. Going by the 3-hole bumper, that appears to be a rare early Mark 1 Hot Shot you have there.

Yeah! I guess so.. I didn't even know anything about a mk1 a few months ago. Didn't expect for this one to come this early..

Overall its pretty complete..

A few stuff needed to be fixed:

-front hubs

-shock covers

-tires

Lots of clean up to do.. Very dusty!

Tires looks there is not too much wear.

Yes, Mk1 front hubs, just like the original Supershot.

At least the front bumper pointing to a MK1. You can identify a real MK1 by the front gearbox (missing 2 supporting rips right side), bumper stay with a little flange, front bumper (more flexible, different underside, three holes and steeper angle), front lower wishbones (larger triangular opening instead of a small hole like the later HS, Boomerang, HS II and Supershot), different uprigts (smaller kingpin hole than later HS) and the resistors (crimped in instead of glued in).

I have a very nice and clean HS1 whis is obveousely not a MK1 because standard model front bumper, lower front wishbones and resistors. But, it has a MK1 gearbox. So either Tamiya sold some kits with mixed parts from the MK1 and standard HS1 or somebody changed to a new gearbox and had a MK1 gearbox at hands?
