Ive been running my Top Force Evo with a 8.5 Novak and its been great other than that rear bulkhead that keeps breaking where the shock tower mount is located. So how have you guys fixed this problem?

One of the members here (I think TA-Mark?) made an alu reinforcement brace for this part.

I made an aluminium angled brace for mine. It adds 2 extra screws through the damper tower similar to the rear tower on a DF03. The bottom screws also pass through it. Then it also screws vertically through the top of the bulkhead. The brace also doubles to keep the back edge of the top gearcover from lifting. It only works with a CF/FRP rear damper tower. No photos taken of it yet, but I'll try to get one taken and posted up. Need to polish the angled brace. I just made it, fitted it, then used it without cleaning it up or making it look pretty. I've not torn a rear tower off since fitting it.

I cut it from flat sheet aluminium. Bent in the vice to the right angles and size, then drilled and tapped with machine threads. Two extra holes needed to be drilled in the rear tower and one into the rear bulkhead.

It needs to be removed in order to access the top gearcover is it's only real downside.

This is a different angled brace to the one I have holding the gearcover down over the two gearbox shafts instead of the gearcover only being held by a single screw between the two shafts.

Ideal would be for someone to make an aluminium top gear cover that incorporated the extra bracing for the rear tower in the single piece. I have a design for this made in Rhino3D. This part would fix both problems (weak rear tower mount and gearcover flex) all in the one piece.
