7.2v Battery Pack

Has anyone heard of vapextech battery packs. are they any good

I'm looking for a 7.2v hump battery pack

Carson also make a hump pack suitable for older cars.

vapextech are great batteries if your not going racing, i had a few for some years before moving over to lipo's and can highly recommend them.

No I just want them for fun. I'm rebuilding some of my 80' s collection of tamiya cars

i have them, excellent batteries, good runtime and quite cheap.

for bashing they are ideal and well worth the extra over any ebay special or unbranded ones.

some newer NiMh with high Amps dont fit so well in the Older cars, these newer stickpacks are a litlle thicker and longer so depending on your car you just have to try which will fit. Hump battery should not be a problem, I run my Willy M38 and Sandscorcher on 5cell 6V still fast enough without breaking anything

I've used vapextach a lot for rc and airsoft batts and always had good service from them. I have a few of their 3300mah nimhs and can confirm they fit into all the Tamiyas I've owned just fine. Been charged many many times and will still give me upto 90mins run time on a standard HB2010!
