Can anyone help me with some scanned decals for old cars.

How about creating a "database" for this.[^]

Pretty much anything. Buying old **** all the time and hope that i will find the time(and decals[]) to make them all look good.

As for now i`m after:GrasshopperII,Hornet,Willie`s wheeler,Ford F-150,Boomerang,Holiday Buggy,HotshotII and Chevy S-10.

Just mail me whatever you got if you find the time.

Where Is the database?

I have the Golf IV V5 decals and will scan them before using them.

EDIT:

Now the link works

I scanned my decals with 300 dpi and saved them as tiff. (10megs)

Then I scanned thema with 600dpi and saved them as jpg. (27megs)

Then I scanned thema with 300dpi and saved thema as jpg. (3,6megs)

Is 600dpi and tiff format really required - i am running out of discspace.

600 dpi and jpg would be also ok if you have space problems, just dont use JPEG compression under 75%.

Beetlejuice - I also live in Norway and I have high-res decal scans of Sand Scorcher, Rough Rider and Wild Willy M38. I can burn them onto a CD and send it to you. Fellow Norwegian member Skyhawk, sent me some of the scans, and I've added some.

Why don't we do what roby did? We should have a section with decal sheet scans that are exact size for anyone who wants to print them out and reproduce decals. I've always wondered why TC doesn't have this.
