Available in Black or Red

What else you will need for ready to run:

Motors x 1 (540 size motors)

Servo x 1

Battery x 1

Electronic Speed Controller x 1

2 or 3 Channel Radio x 1

Charger x 1

Having built one of these, I'm a bit confused with the pre-built option as most of it'll need taking apart to fit the motor

Cracking truck though

I managed to remove the motor plate from mine when i swapped motors - i was somewhat surprised given how awkward these are to build !

Given the competition from Axial, i'm not surprised they are offfering ARTR now

It took me a while but I've totally nailed replacing the motor quickly. Magnetic screwdriver, a good light to see what you're doing in the there and with the truck held in the right position I can change the motor in about 10 mins without removing anything except the motor cover. I've done it on the back seat of a car. I like swapping the motor so I can go from crawler to rock racer during one trip out with it.

I'm slightly confused as to who would want a RTR R1 since its by far the simplest and quickest kit I've ever built.

10 minutes??? It took me almost half an hour and I had to drop the front shocks and the upper link next to the motor to move mine. (I have SCX10 axles on mine)

Great looking R1 there. With a 540 motor you can fit it over the top of the universal shaft and squeeze it below the top two links. you have to sway them to one side but it'll pop in and out of there easy enough. By far and away the most fiddly part of the exercise is twisting the dust cover off that gives you access to the motor screws. There's not much to grip onto. I've drilled a self tapping screw into mine to act as a little handle so I can get purchase on it.
