Wanted allen key for motor pinion

Finished my Sand Rover build but over the years I have lost the allen key that fits the motor pinion grub screw.

Is there anywhere I can buy the allen key on its own?

What size is it? 1.5mm?

Until then I am stuck with the 380 motor, not even driven it yet, swapped the receiver into one of my other models, really just to test the radio gear to make sure it worked so I didn't smash my new car, but I think I would like to add more power. My father in law to be has an FF model so I want to upgrade before I offer him a race as he has a standard silver can and I have a 19T peak racing motor I want to fit, cheating? yes but why not? :o

Thanks very much for any help or advice you can give.

Is it just a standard allen key for motor pinions you're after? or is this one different?

Yep just a standard allen key for the grub screw in the 540 motor pinion.

Is it 1.5mm?

Thanks for the reply Wez-li

Are you in the UK? Pm me your address and I will stick one in the post for you :)

Very kind of you Wez-li, I am in the U.K, I was quite prepared to buy one, just wasn't sure of the size or where to get one, did look at Fusion hobbies but couldn't see it on there.

Thanks very much, I don't mind paying for it at all, I would offer up any spares I had but I left them all when I last moved house which is where all my allen keys are. I only took my complete cars, left loads of stuff there which I really regret now :D , I left my pumpkin there as well although it was a bit battered :)

Am forever loosing these little ******s!

If you have any £1 shops near you, they allways sell a set of allen keys, not fantastic quality, but handy non the less.

I have a set of these http://www.fusionhobbies.com/Ansmann-Racin...ar203000070.htm although I didnt pay that much for them, they cover the popular sizes encountered on RC.

Most motor factor stores stock a screw driver set, small handle and 29 bits, ranging from basic philips and flat head to torx, allen and a few other fitments, usually around £12 or so and well worth investment.

Glad you got sorted any way.
