fatboyslim 11 Posted February 6, 2012 Hi does anyone know if. I will have to pay any import duty on a package coming from the state... My vintage rangerI have had a look and prob might. Have to pa. 9 or 15 pounds which I dont mind.. Just wonderd IF HMRC decide to stop your package (being from the US chances are they will!!) You will pay import duty on the TOTAL cost including shipping charges then you will pay VAT on that amount Then you'll be charged a 'fee' by royal mail for their services which IIRC is either £8 or £18 Someone once said that adding 20% to the cost+shipping costs would be about right Share this post Link to post
Daves956 157 Posted February 7, 2012 From all I've gathered anything radio gets tagged, even gifts are subject to charges. The F150 is an accessory vehicle for your live steam model railroad you plan to build. Have a look at charges for model railroad to get an idea of the difference. Share this post Link to post
TWINSET 1795 Posted February 7, 2012 Try this; http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?...p;hl=calculator Then, as FBS said, add £8 to £18 for the courier to clear it through customs for you Share this post Link to post
