What Truck Would You Like to See Next?...

Recommended Posts

Was just thinking the other day what the next 1/14 truck would be as there hasn't been one for a while now

i was thinking that they may have a go at making another Euro Truck like a Merecedes Actros 6x2, a new Volvo FH 16 or even a DAF!!!

What are your thoughts???

Freightliner Argosy. Not the most attractive rig but these and the Scania's (which tamiya already produce) are super popular over here.

Just watched 'Big trouble in little China' last night, so had been thinking Jacks would be cool, came to ask if it had been done yet. It's got a cool paint job, 'pork chop express' classic :)

Scammel explorer. 6x6 with walking beam rear suspension and solid front axle. Crying to out be built using a modified Hi lift in 1/10 scale.

Or one of these :)

Any truck that has a new MFC-03 in it.

As Gozone has mentioned, the MFC-01 is archaic and huge! Something smaller with more options would be great an ANY truck.

I would like to see a small Isuzu delivery truck. That would be cool.

Cheers,

Skottoman

A lowboy trailer is what I want from Tamiya 1/14 truck series.

Lowboys and other MUCH cooler trailers than Tamiyas are available through Carson modellsport and other makes too. :)

Any big conventional US aero-rig tractor would do me!! There's enough Euro stuff in the range already.

just my 2 cents...

Oh my goodness! That International looks like the truck from "Maximum Overdrive" but on futuristic steroids. Yukk. ;)

I would like an old Scania T 142 E 6x4. :)

hino-dakar-rally-2011.jpghino-dakar-rally-2011.jpg Well I drive a 2012 Hino 258, so of course I think a Hino would be great. Altough a cab over would be awesome for Dakar rally builds!

*shrugs shoulders* While it's cool that big T have brought out another tractor unit, All the modern Euro trucks are starting to look pretty similar.

How about another 'classic' truck, or something a bit different like an 8 wheeler twin steer, or some eastern trucks like Hino, Isuzu, Mitsubishi, Nissan Diesel etc :)

I'm not going to hold my breath on this one - but I love to see them do the Bandag Bandit or Super Boss. Followed by perhaps the Hideout Truck and/or Papa Truck.

For those unfamiliar with these - Google them.

If I can botch something together then I'm sure tamiya can make a good job of one, and I have to say it's great fun to drive ;)
