Can you buy one? Just the body and decals that is? I checked ebay and a couple other places and did not see one.

I would love to do something different body wise with my Humvee

ah i did find some from dinball 65 shipped with no decals

a lot more than i want to spend for a basher body and ideals for a good truck body that fits over the tores for a TA01/02?

The Tamiya F-150 body is 250mm wheelbase. The Hummer is around 280mm wheelbase.

The tub on the Hummer is TA01, and the F-150 uses the 20mm shorter TA02 tub. The Hummer's unique suspension arms make up the remaining 10mm of difference in wheelbase. The common parts between them are the gearboxes.

Have a look at the HPI Savage bodies. These are around the 280mm-285mm wheelbase (even though the Savage 1:8 chassis itself is much longer), and would fit over the Hummer chassis quite well. This one would look excellent with scale sized Hummer wheels.

hmm i like that body i wish i knew how wide it was it needs to be about 8 inches wide. i don't want the wheels sticking out.

The Savage bodies are about 190-195mm wide at the gaurds. I guess the tyres would still stick out a touch even if you used offset wheels and 4mm thick drive hexes (effectively narrowing the track of the chassis by 5-7mm).

You will be hard pressed to find a body that is 280mm wheelbase and 205mm wide. The Tamiya Hummer is the only chassis with these dimensions that I know of.
