Hi, I take it this shell will fit the lunchbox? I wouldn't mind doing an m-chassis take on it too. If by any chance you know the WB, I would gladly appreciate an update to your post..... Thanks in advance

XXX-1.8T 3 Posted February 21, 2012 i typed kombi in the search and nothing came up? Also would it be impossible to fit it to a Monster Beetle Chassis?

Sayer 756 Posted February 23, 2012 The wheelbase is listed as 174mm though, so I don't know how useful it'll be for the M chassis...
matman 1500 Posted February 23, 2012 This has been talked about . http://www.tamiyaclub.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=66010
Daves956 157 Posted February 23, 2012 I'm not sure how many kinds of wrong it would be, but the 956 is just over 200 and it would probably fit. I've already had my blow over so I'll pass on the idea. I can viualize a bug bus lowered to the ground doing 50 or 60 and it's not a pretty picture.

DerbyDan 0 Posted February 24, 2012 The wheelbase is listed as 174mm though, so I don't know how useful it'll be for the M chassis... Does anyone know the width for this shell? - I'm very tempted to get one... but the only chassis I have that I think it would fit is my M03 - I'm presuming 174mm is achievable with chassis spacers (mine's currently swb with a mini racing shell) thanks in advance
mr crispy 2296 Posted February 24, 2012 Isn't the M03 wheelbase 210mm? I recently cut down a TL01 to fit under my WW2 body and that wheelbase needed to be 170mm. It meant I had to loose the battery mount but it turns very quickly, a full 180 within 3ft turning circle! M03 would be easier to shorten by cutting down the rear end and fitting it inside the front half... If that makes sence. I'd be interested to know how wide this VW body is to? RS2RSR 17 Posted February 24, 2012 Thanks!so can i fit it to Monster beetle or would it be impossible? Yes you can make it fit but the WB will look weird.. Chassis around 260mm and the body 175mm..

DerbyDan 0 Posted February 24, 2012 With 140mm. Length 310mm Thanks RS2RSR..... is the length the O/A of the shell, bumper to bumber? (i.e; not the wheelbase - presumably thats the 174mm previously highlighted)

WillyChang 1818 Posted February 29, 2012 pickedup Willy T2 bodyset 6 wks ago.... just haven't logged in past few wks Body is physically about size of Vanessa's Lunchbox, so its much smaller than a Scorcher size shell bit too narrow for M-chassis unless you like the wheels hugely poking out probably best fitted on a Lunchbox chassis if you don't have a WR02; or i'm thinking of TLT1. Local hobby shop has them stacked on the floor in front of the counter with the new Pajero Wheelie for $199CDN. I'd very much like both bodysets, but not at that price. hazzer 12 Posted March 31, 2012 I got both Street Rover and VW Type 2, so I just tried lowering the VW body mount and put in the wide wheels.... I think I like it more like this...
