tamiya PS 9 looks close . paint that on the inside . To dull the lexan down why not spray the outside with matt clear PS55 ?

I believe you can also spay the outside of the shell with polycarb paint then spray over that with a satin or flat olive drab. Sometimes I mask the windows on both sides, spray the inside metalic silver backed by black. I'll then spray the outside with metalic silver then i'll use a Tamiya PS spray over that. When you start to get scratches on the shell it looks great because they are silver underneath.

my jgsdf jeep thingy , come with a pre-painted lexan body , pity it was shiny on the out side , i took a piece of off cut from the body and sprayed it with tamiya ps 61 nato olive drab . when dried , i couldnt scratch it or get it to flake off the test piece so i sprayed the out side of the jgsdf body then applied the decals .. no problems with the decals of scuffing but i am not going to give it a hard time either ..

Firstly, you should not be looking for Lexan paint. The Vanessa's Lunchbox is ABS so the Krylon K42930000 is the paint you need. You could try spraying the inside (as per advice above) but unless you were blessed with xray vision this would be most unsuccessful.

Exactly, I've got a Parma Lexan body. The point is that is seems impossible to find an olive drab paint for Lexan plastics.

Anyhow, my best bet is to go for the ordinary green (Tamiya) color for the inside and matte paint for the outside. Should probably give a quite army-ish result.

Try using 'artist graffiti paint' (montana blackline brand) I use it on lexan and yeah sure small pieces occasionally come off with massive stack etc but thats easy fixed and the colour range is amazing..

i was put onto them and the cans are normal 400ml size and cover extremely well and they are the same price as the PS cans that don't cover ****...!

that was yesteryear, now we've got PS55 Flat Clear

you can use it on both sides of the body then paint TS or handbrush colours on top, they stick great
