Fox driveshafts

I recently picked up a Tamiya Fox that I plan on using for a runner. It's in good shape overall with the exception of the hex driveshafts and outdrives. Has anyone ever found driveshafts and outdrives from a different vehicle that will fit?

Back in its day the driveshafts were unique to the Fox.

Its probably a case of measuring them and then searching around other manufacturers models for something of the same size
