Can anyone recommend any oil shocks for my Sand Rover 2012, thanks.

As some of you may have realised i've only just got into the forum due to that hacker prob, so its Qu Qu & more Qu.

Thanks for looking.

Page 19 of you manual lists the hopup plastic CVA dampers for the Sand Rover. #50519 front (64mm), and #50520 rear (94mm).

If you want to upgrade to alloy dampers, I highly recommend the Tamiya DF03 #53926 set. The length of the dampers on the DT02 is the same as the DF03, just be sure to use the kit supplied DT02 coil springs as these are the correct weight for a 2WD buggy. Alternatively you could use cheaper quality DF03 alloy dampers from another brand, or buy alloy dampers by length (65mm front, 95mm rear).

Some other hopups I highly recommend (condsidering also your other posts) is:

#53863 DT02 Ball differential, #53791 Universal shafts (these two replace the plastic driveline parts in the rear axle to metal).

#83828 DT02 adjustable link set (makes your camber and toe easily adjustable).

#53831 motor heatsink set (helps cool the motor and keep heat away from the gearbox casing).

That should make the DT02 pretty much indestrutable provided you keep it rubber side down and within the limits of the gearing (motor limit discussed in the other thread).
