Hey Steve. Do you know what the pitch of the pinion gear is?

Hi I believe it is 32p but not 100% it looks like it though.

If you upgrade the shocks, a set from a DT02/03 TT02B are a perfect fit. Even the spring rates a good.

I just took my Heavy Dump Truck out for what was it's first proper long duration bash. Loved it! It's a surprisingly versatile little thing. The only real weakness is it is liable to rolling on high traction surfaces but then what do you expect? It's top heavy and has soft grippy tyres. It does fine if you drive it within it's limits though! I think some thicker oil in the shocks would help though.

Thanks to the 4x4 and having the bare minimum requirement for half decent suspension (double links all round), it's really quite good at off-roading and if you ease the throttle in you can even zoom up quite steep slopes without it trying to wheelie.

And of course, it does great wheelies too, not to mention front flips on command!

The best thing is, because I intend to add rust and dirt weathering, it doesn't matter if the shell gets scratches, something that would normally give me a panic attack on a vehicle wich such a detailed body. The dirtier it gets the better it looks!

My Monster Truggy is finally re-built. Here's the shakedown run on 2s. The next run will be lowered on 3s. I think I might do a speed run as well. 😁

Please subscribe if you like what you see. Thanks.

G'day Gents, here's a bit of Wild Willy action for your perusal.

I'm partial to M38.  Willy running on 2 looks like a Kangaroo running!
