Blah. It's just the Jaccs/Piaa body shell w/o sponsor decals. Shoulda seen this comming. <_<

I can understand your disappointment as we were hoping for a new body/mould, but I've actually waited for this release for some time (I have plans for a custom touring/racing chassis, and this body could very well fit what I'm looking for)... I love this Accord's looks but you need good decals to match. They re-re'd this body 2 or so years back but decided not to include any decals... pretty useless, as the original decals were as rare as the body.

Ok, you still don't get any sponsors... but some creativity gets you a long way for an awesome paintscheme, and if you really want the original sponsoring... well yes, then it's going to be a pain getting that.

Yeah, I picked up a re-re shell back then along with a Castrol Civic & some Jaccs civic decals. My original plan was to make the Castrol Accord with the Civic decals. The problem was the Castrol Accord & Civic have very different overall schemes. But your right, the new trim decals will be very welcome (I need some). Perhaps someone can whip up some vector drawings of the Castrol Accord livery (as it currently sits in the Honda showroom) that we can send to our friend willy-chang if he's still doing decal production. What do ya guys think?

I prefer the Jaccs, but it uses fluorescent colours, and I believe WillyChang can't print Fluor? PIAA Accord would also be an option.

(Windows could be optionally 'taped down' with extra decals on the decal set)?

Seeing the following picture by the way, I'd see a Calsonic paintscheme work very well on it too:

And another alternative livery (though i feel this is a later model?):

Nice to have a figurative blank canvas to work with for this new release - especially after seeing some of the neat paint schemes on past Accord touring cars.

I'll be selling a CB7 Accord soon. Maybe I'll buy this new Tamiya model as a token. Or maybe I'll just keep my CB7 as a project car and pimp it out with a spoiler, new headers and exhaust, lowered suspension with camber kits, new camshaft, a manual tranny, and neon green rims, kind of like the Accord in the pics above. :D

I'm not sure if they do fluorescent colors, but a company that prints out custom signs and decals on clear vinyl is buildasign.com. They might be able to fulfill particular RC livery requests, as long as you provide them a good quality picture file.
