TB-02 Budget Shocks

Quick question:

I believe that TT-01 shocks fit on the TB-02, and so fleabay item number 110913831088 should fit on my TB-02.

Can someone confirm this for me, or suggest alternative ones? Thanks.

TT-01 kit shocks are friction shocks, and the optional CVA oil dampers - though their performance is not shabby - doesn't give best bang for your buck I think (at least it's not that way with the buggy CVA dampers, It's a while back I used the touring ones but Tamiya low friction alu ones are much better and don't cost much more).

Are you looking to get only Tamiya dampers or are another brand of dampers also an option for you?

The item I highlighted in my request is non-Tamiya and oil-filled, so I'm not wedded to the Tamiya brand. It's just that they are for the TT-01 and I have a TB-02, hence the question about compatibility.

Compatibility with dampers comes down to their overall length from eye to eye, which that ebay advert doesn't give. From another source they are 55mm dampers. Compare that to the length of the existing dampers (eye to eye).

3Racing dampers are not known for their quality, hence the cheaper than CVA prices. You get what you pay for. I'd use plastic CVA dampers before I'd ever use these on a runner.
