I think we should formalise a directly or great member recommended circuits. It would be a great resource as many people just don't know what is close to them. It might also help in arranging future club events.

Here is one that was completely new to me until this morning

It looks ace, huge astro turfed track and only about an hour away from me.

Do you know of any others (Please post links to sites where possible)

Cheers

Chris, Arena X is part of the Grantham A1 club.

A member recently tried to arrange a meet there but it all fell through last minute due attendee levels. Check out this forum and you should spot the whole thread. Good news is I 'think' you don't need to be licence holders to hire it out.

thanks for the link - its a shame it didn't work out before.

the indoor track looks very interesting. I may make a trip up there sometime, maybe even arrange a one day winter thing at some point.

Keep the ideas coming in guys - anyone got any further south?

I know of this one which looks nice and are keen to have us

In my opinion the track at tc meet was great (not to taxing) for a put together track.i personally rather enjoyed running the on road cars then buggies it made a big change for me. So if there is a on road track for next meet you can always add ramps/bumps etc where as running road cars on buggy tracks dont really work to good.Just a few of my thoughts as im now thinking of joining a on road club.

As most of you know I am a regular racer with my DB01R and TRF201.

I have been racing over 20 years now.

The 2 clubs I go to are

and

http://shrccc.co.uk/

both are ace venues, but this next link is a list of RC car clubs. just look at your County.

There is the onroad tarmac track at Wombwell in South Yorkshire. It's part of a Go Kart track, but i don't know any other details about it.
