BLING! Very nice, but 2 things:

The screws and nuts holding the front hubs are reversed, screw heads should be in front and the nuts in back (sorry, I just couldn't resist :D )

And 2, where/how did you get the decals, I'm in desperate need of some!

Love the details in your paint job

Ok, I'll disassemble the parts and will mount them correctly. ;) ;)

Looks awesome fella, Well done !

I have to ask also about the decals, Mine i've just bought has absolutley none fitted to the shell, Did you use the Tamiya advised Red or another ?

I primed the body with fine surface white primer. The white under the red is better than the gray due the red never covers completely the under surface. So white turns the red brighter.

The red is Tamiya TS-8 Italian Red as per manual.

The decals are the no more available TC Repros. They are very very good quality and I'm so disappointed they are gone.

Dont bother with the ebay decals unless its for a runner, I bought some and haven't dared to put them on, they are just terrible and also on white vinyl

Hi people, little but important upgrade today on my Monster Beetle.

This car is a shelf queen and will never see the dirt again but anyway it needs tlc like a puppy so I bought, thanks the TC and its members, this fantastic option part.

Asyou can see is the rear body post aluminum brace.

Mine was obviously broken. I have a nip original spare part but as I said this car needs continue tlc.

The part:

The old broken one:

Mounted on:

This thread is slowly slowly going on, like all my projects...

Very nice and useful tuning part, Max!

What seller is it? Could need one, too. :)

And thanks so much for your help to get me back in the forums!
