94grasshopper 0 Posted September 15, 2012 will this fit in to my grasshopper 1 and if so will i need anything else for it to fit thanks kyle http://www.amazon.co.uk/Ezrun-Hobbywing-Combo-3000Kv-Brushless/dp/B0092MQHUY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_nC?ie=UTF8&colid=1B9OANH2SP8WM&coliid=IBJIYJY8WBZ8W
wolfdogstinkus 1893 Posted September 15, 2012 Yes that should fit in place of a standard silver can 540 motor, the only thing I would reccomend is a cheap lipo battery to run it, it will run fine with Ni-mh or Ni-cad but lipos will blow you away. I would advise shopping around though, it can be had for a lot cheaper, in fact for that price you could get a lipo as well from places like hobbyking. 94grasshopper 0 Posted September 16, 2012 one more question before i get what sort of plug will it have will it be the same as the lipo battery or the same as normal battery
atf300 28 Posted September 16, 2012 i think you will have to solder the connector your choice
TA-Mark 195 Posted September 16, 2012 one more question before i get what sort of plug will it have will it be the same as the lipo battery or the same as normal battery Avoid the Tamiya style molex plugs. They cannot handle the amount of current needed for a brushless system. Stick with high voltage battery connectors.
mr nice 10 Posted September 16, 2012 It should come with a tamiya plug as mine did and by the way ebay hong kong do this for about £50 deliverd an takes about a week.
