I found these two models recently:

Team C/Absima Jekyll 1/10 2WD Buggy

Team C/Absima Hyde 1/10 2WD Stadium Truck

These two cars seem to be new versions of the former Ansmann Mad Rat. Absima is the new European distributor for Team C's R/C models.

The TR-02 chassis is said to be revised from the Mad Rat, there's also a mid motor configuration called Lupus.

The Jekyll kit is sold for 60 € including ball diff, slipper clutch, CVD driveshafts and oil dampers. But it lacks ball bearings. It seems the basic chassis design has been carried over from the RC10B4 and the TRF201. There's also a competition full-option chassis variant called T2 Evo, which has an oil filled gear diff.

I wonder if the Jekyll is a bargain... or not? Any experiences with this car or its predecessor, the Mad Rat?

hi got a ansmann mad monkey and am using alot of team -c /Absima hop-up parts for it geared diff is a god send no more melted diff units on 11.1v lipo . think the mad rat kit is abit cheaper than the jekyll . screw are just as soft as ansmann's ones though hexs round off easy
