just bought it and installed it in to my grasshopper and it will work for a while driving and then it will just stop but still steer but when i turn it off and on it does the same again any ideas?

First thing i'd check is your battery . It sounds like the ESC can'nt draw enough current .

2s lipo ? whats the c rating ?

Have you programmed the ESC to ni-mh batteries?, it could be the lipo cut off kicking in.

Sounds that way wolfy . It sounds like its power related

i also had same problem.power loss here and there and when battery was half done total cut off for a few seconds then power and so on.Use the program card to turn

the cut off -off if using nihm packs.

set the voltage cut off to "none" when you use nimh batteries and you are good
