Team Magic E4JS - 1/10 touring car - bought off a club racer for £50, immediate improvement on carpet over my modded TA05

Ansmann Mad Monkey - lovely geometry and great handling out of the box but diff is made of cheese and the whole thing is not very well made

Associated B4.1 Worlds - replaced the Mad Monkey with this after 2 months; so much better and not broke a single part in half a season of buggy racing

Traxxas E-Revo 1/16 VXL - I love this to bits. On stock NiMH 7.2v packs it's not that fast, runtimes fairly short and its size limits what is can do. Promises of 14.4v power on the box are hit with strict limitations in the instruction manual, so much so I never tried. However, with a 2s LiPo soft pack squidged into the battery drawer, it's a little gem. Indecently fast, controllable wheelies on demand and extremely durable build quality. Power is way too high for its very soft suspension so it's no good for racing, but apparently they can be tuned for better control. As a grass, gravel or tarmac basher I can't fault it.

Losi MRC - got this in a trade a couple of years ago, ran it once then took it apart to build a scaler, never but it back together again. Will try to get this one finished during the winter and have it running for next year.

I once had a Traxxas Eagle. Total POS as a performer, and ugly as it can gets! That was my one and only non-Tamiya RC vehicle. I sold it earlier on this year.

Even though I'm not looking forward to having any other vehicles by other brands I have to admit I have some soft spot for two Tokyo/Marui vehicles, the BIG BEAR and the Galaxy buggy.

Wow, seems i am one of the only true Tamiya fans here Just a Team Associated B44 for me although i do have my eye out for a nib Kyosho Turbo Optima Mid

Mids are pretty amazing cars if you get to build one. I still maintain they'd be pretty competitive with modern cars if they just replaced all the duraluminium with cf and the press-fit wheel hexes with the pin type.
