But on this Beatties bag, does it look like BMR Racing as opposed to RMR Racing on the Rough Rider?

You see on the Rough Rider there are two names of the driver, and therefore two types if initial for the big decals.

I'm not sure if this is something that changed during production or whenever but you "BMR" for Bob Mitchell Racing and "RMR" for Rob Mitchell Racing.

I have no idea which is the early version of if indeed one is pre-production even.

The pic on the RR intro screen ( http://www.tamiyaclub.com/car.asp?id=15 ) looks like BMR too, but I've only ever seen RMR decals

Yes. Maybe it was this that caused the confusion at Tamiya and then the change came about.

It could just be that someone in Beatties marketing department decided to change it to Beatties Model Racing, rather than anything to do with Tamiya at all.
